Hello everyone! I can’t believe today is the first day of autumn in the Northern Hemisphere! Here in England, the weather has been mild and I hope it stays like this for a while yet. It’s nice to see both sunshine and the leaves changing colour. I spent a lot of time outdoors during the summer and my August reading was all about manga.

I liked learning more about Rinko and her best friends Kaori and Koyuki. Key rubs me up the wrong way though. I’m not sure why he’s so rude to Rinko and calls her a “middle-aged woman” when she is 33 😑 Anyway, I’m definitely invested in this series now.

There’s a lot of relationship drama in volume 3, but I’m not too keen on the talking codfish milt (tara) and liver (reba) characters. Yup, Rinko’s drunk hallucination mascots have taken on a life of their own and give bad advice to boot.
In case you missed it!
How was August for you? Let me know in the comments!
