Top Ten Tuesday: Books Written Before I Was Born

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme that is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is Books Written Before I Was Born and was submitted by Davida Chazan @ The Chocolate Lady’s Book Review Blog. This is a fun topic idea and it’s reminded me of some great backlist titles that I would like to check out. Here is a GIF from the year I was born:

Fun fact: this was also the same year that animated GIFs were created! Thankfully, there are quite a few books on my TBR that were written before this date!

  1. I really liked ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’ ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy,’ ‘Anne of Green Gables,’ and ‘I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.’ I read a little bit of ‘Mary Poppins’ but I couldn’t get into it. I just thought the movie was better. :/
