Wrap Up

Wrap Up: February and March 2021

Hello everyone! Spring has sprung and I’m happy that the clocks have gone forward in the UK because it means lighter days ahead. During these last couple of months, the types of books I have read have varied from a webcomic to a play. I’m hoping to switch things up again this month. Here is my combined wrap up for February and March.

Books Read

Check, Please! Book 2: Sticks & Scones by Ngozi Ukazu ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It took me a long time to read this volume even though I did enjoy it. Check, Please! is a sweet combination of baking, romance and hockey. Book 2 also explores Bitty’s coming out in more depth.

The Dark Days Deceit by Alison Goodman ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is the third and final installment in the Lady Helen series and it did not disappoint! I love how Alison Goodman blends real historical figures and places in Regency England with the supernatural.

Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller ⭐⭐⭐

Death of a Salesman is considered a classic, but reading it left me feeling a little underwhelmed. Maybe I need to see the stage version of this play to fully appreciate it.
