My blogging schedule has been light during this month and I’m going to squeeze in my wrap up post so that I can at least talk about the books I have read!
If I Was Your Girl by Meredith Russo ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is a YA romance about a transgender girl who is trying to fit into a new high school and her coming of age story. I warmed to the main character, Amanda, who is a strong individual. It’s the first book I have read (or in this case listened to on audiobook) which features a trans character and I found it to be enlightening and enjoyable.
Tokyo Tarareba Girls, Vol. 4 by Akiko Higashimura ⭐⭐⭐
I feel bad for Rinko. Her goal of getting married causes heartache and self-doubt. Sure, compromise is important in a relationship, but while she was doing all the compromising, her hot boyfriend was unwilling to do anything.
Oh, and hey Key, why do you keep acting like a jerk?
