WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. All you need to do is answer the three questions below and leave a link on Sam’s post.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Wow, it’s been ages since I’ve written a WWW Wednesday post. But to quote Bender from Futurama, “I’m back, baby!”

What are you currently reading?

Dark Days Pact

The Dark Days Pact by Alison Goodman. I’m a fan of The Dark Days Club and this is the second book in the Lady Helen series. It’s great to catch up with the characters from this intriguing YA fantasy novel set in Regency England. The final installment in the trilogy, The Dark Days Deceit, will be released in a couple of months. I can’t wait to read this novel!

What did you recently finish reading?

the exact opposite of okay

The Exact Opposite of Okay by Laura Steven. I enjoyed this feminist YA novel which questions shaming teenage girls. Recently, there was a competition on Twitter which invited readers to guess the last word in the title for the sequel. The title starts with the words, ‘A Girl Called…’.  I suggested ‘Fighter’, although no one managed to guess the correct answer which is ‘Shameless’. I’ll definitely be reading the sequel too.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Things We Learn When We're Dead

The Things We Learn When We’re Dead by Charlie Laidlaw. The author was kind enough to send me a review copy of his book. I’ve read that this contemporary fantasy novel is a modern retelling of The Wizard of Oz. You guys know how much I love retellings and it sounds very interesting!

Have you read any of these books? Let me know in the comments and feel free to link your WWW Wednesday post!
